Our continuous effort through the “Athlete Spotlight of the Month” segment has always been to give athletes the spotlight they deserve. Therefore, here we are, introducing you to another amazing athlete who has incredible potential to be one of the best “Women’s Bodybuilding” competitors of today.
We are very proud to feature Paula Ranta as our “Athlete Spotlight of the Month” for October 2026.

Paula is an IFBB Pro and Women’s Bodybuilding competitor from Finland whose latest Olympia appearance was at the 2026 Olympia where she finished 4th in an incredible lineup of 10 amazing athletes. This was also her Women’s Bodybuilding Olympia debut since making her switch this season.
Paula had started her Pro career in Women’s Figure before moving up to Women’s Physique and eventually announcing the switch to Women’s Bodybuilding earlier this year. She is one of the very few athletes holding a pro win in Figure, Physique and Women’s Bodybuilding.
Season Recap :
The 2026 season started for Paula with the Romania Muscle Fest 2025 where she took 3rd in Women’s Physique. Romania was followed by the New York Pro in May 2026 where she won the Women’s Physique title and earned her Women’s Physique Olympia qualification. Then came the Pittsburgh Pro which solidified Paula’s dominance with another win in Women’s Physique. The Pittsburgh win established Paula as one of the best women’s physique athletes out there.

But Paula was hungry for more and went on to compete at the Chicago Pro where she took a very close 2nd place after a fierce battle with Brooke Walker who took the title.
Then came the announcement that shifted Paula’s career trajectory to a different division, Women’s Bodybuilding. Paula did not waste any time and jumped in to the Tampa Pro to make her Women’s Bodybuilding debut where she dominated and won her first women’s bodybuilding title and her 2nd Olympia qualification, this time in Women’s Bodybuilding.

Turning PRO :
Paula turned PRO at the NPC Worldwide Poland Grand Prix back in August 2021 and went on to make her pro debut at the Fitparade Hungary Pro in Oct 2021 taking home a 4th place finish.
Paula has been working with coach and partner Ville Rekola throughout her pro career and has competed at various shows around the world in different divisions proving her versatility and caliber. Refer below to see her complete competition history.
