Samson Dauda AKA “The Nigerian Lion” made his Olympia debut at the 2022 Mr.Olympia bagging a very impressive 6th place finish and thereby defeating some major players that usually take up the Top 6 spots like William and Hunter.
Let’s go back to Samson’s competition history for the 2022 season…
Samson started his season with the Inaugural Arnold Classic UK taking a very close 2nd place finish. After the Arnold UK, Samson competed in multiple shows namely the Yamamoto Cup, KO Pro bagging Top 3 finishes in all of them and finally the EVLS Prague Pro where he earned his Olympia qualification.
But the Nigerian Lion was still hungry, Samson also competed at the Romania Muscle Fest to end the year 2021 with a solid statement as he took home a dominating Top 2 finish.
The year 2022 was also a very successful year for Samson as he competed in some of the major shows like the Arnold USA, Boston Pro placing not less than 4th at both the shows.
And Finally, Samson competed at the Main Event – The Mr Olympia 2022 where he took 6th as mentioned earlier. Samson’s physique has definitely improved through the entire 2022 season which is also clearly evident in his placings. What makes Samson stand out is the proportions he carries, the wide frame, the tight waist and most importantly his exceptional posing.
As of now Samson is in prep for the Arnold Classic 2023. Wishing him and coach Milos good luck for the show!
