An Olympia debut is a special experience for any athlete but when an Olympia debut earns you 3rd place in a division in the entire world, it’s more special.

Lucas Garcia made his Olympia debut this past weekend at the 2025 Mr. Olympia and took home an impressive 3rd place finish defeating some of the most seasoned pros in the division. Lucas took 3rd place just behind the defending champ Keone Pearson and Shaun Clarida, who’s also a former champion.

Lucas had a decent momentum heading into this year’s Olympia with 2 back to back wins in August. First being the Tampa Pro where he also got his ticket to the Olympia and second being the Texas Pro, a week later.

Lucas brought an amazing package to the Olympia stage. He had a perfect balance of size, structure and conditioning. Lucas also recently started working with Marcello Alfonsi, who coached him for the 2025 season. Therefore, it is safe to say that Lucas is going to get better with time.

Physique wise Lucas is extremely impressive. He has got the perfect structure and muscle bellies for 212 and most importantly, he has always been consistent with conditioning which makes him stand out in a deep lineup.

Lucas definitely has got all the tools he needs to be the face and future of the 212 division and with the reigning champ Keone Pearson announcing a move to Men’s Open, Lucas will be one of the top contenders to push Shaun Clarida for the 212 title next year.

We look forward to seeing more of Lucas in the coming season and wish him good luck!
