Starting Off “Let’s talk Olympia Debuts” with none other than the “Dark Horse” Nathan Epler.
Heading into the show, Nathan was not even in conversation for a Top10, but he surprised everyone by not just cracking the Top10, but by taking 5th in his first ever Olympia. Nathan got his qualification by winning the NewYork Pro earlier in May. He had also competed at the Indy Pro where he took a very close 2nd to Tonio Burton.
Physique wise, though Nathan might not be the biggest guy in the lineup, he definetly brings the conditioning that’s required. And its the conditioning and the overall structure that carried him ahead of some of the big names in the lineup.
With that said, wanted to congratulate Nathan again. Looking forward to seeing an even better version of him next year!
